Hi: I'm a journalist and editor doing research and an HWG List Guide pointed
me to ask this question here:

With regard to the grammatically correct use of capitalization: What (in
your subjective opinion) is the "industry standard" on the word "web" when
used to indicate the World Wide Web and appended to such terms as site or
host? That is, of all the common variations currently in use, which of the
following are -- in your personal opinion -- correct (and why)?...

web, Web, Webhost, webhost, Web host, Web Host, web host,
Website, website, Web site, Web Site, web site

Please feel free to email directly. I am also glad to explore this
conversation within this group, if there is sufficient interest.

Thanks!
