That's only because the page uses frames.
The URL address is the main frame while the links are in a second frame that
doesn't show the URL.
I think that websites have a right to decide which "door" people come in, I
certainly prefer it when people come in the main index page, that way they
know what the whole site is about and look at more than one small part of
it.
