Creating an image menuby "Peter Newton" <c-newton(at)ihug.co.nz> |
|
Hello All I am building a website at:- http://nzsc.addr.com/webm.html What I'm wanting to do is to put menu's on the A4 page to the right as I mouseover the links on the left. The menu's will be an image divided into areas using the <map> and <area> tag's. I have no problem creating the <map> and <area> tags and I have no problem putting an image onto the A4 page. I am stuck howeveron how to put an area mapped image onto the A4 page. Can anyone help? Many Thanks Peter Newton nb. I had thought of using <divs> to position images over each other and turning the visibility on and off. However I found I had to use absolute positioning to align the images and I'm really looking for the page to expand and contract with the various screen resolutions and settings people use.
