Another useful resource that you've probably come across, but I'll post it
anyway for lurkers, is

http://www.whois.org/search.cgi2?as=1

which allows you to do searches on all or parts of US TLD names, so for
instance I can find all net, org and com domains starting, ending, or
containing "lois", should I wish to. And from there, discover the domain
owner, DNSs and web site if any.

BTW, if anyone knows of an equivalent for UK domains, please let me know! At
present, I can only type one exact domain at a time for the lookup services
I know about. *Very* tedious.
