WIN2K, PII 750 256Mb RAM...Homesite crashes on occasion. I had it
on the same machine under Win98SE and it was performing as badly
as you describe below.
I've used nEdit on RH6.2 and 7.0. Nothing like Homesite, but it
does allow for extensive, customizable syntax highlighting, menu
customization and has a very useful built-in scripting/macro
interface that will allow all sorts of quick extensions to be
built...regex experience a big help...:)
I'm always interested in checking out Linux-based editors, so if I
could be included on any responses to the questions, I'd be
grateful.

Hello,
1st off, this post is only partially related to "Techniques".
However, an artist must choose the best brush to exercise their
techniques... so, please excuse me.
Your recommendations of a HTML editor for Linux are welcome. As a
Homesite user, something similar would hit the spot.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
P.S. Are many of you having problems with HS and system resources?
I edit a LOT of vtm and wml files (Wizards) and my application
crashes every 15 to 30 minutes (no kidding). Windows 98, PIII 300,
256M + same problem on other similar machines.
