Heya all..
I've just recently been reading this post on the list. Yes, It is true,
that the media has changed the meaning of the word 'hacker', and yes,
originally hackers were people who programed and 'hacked' code up. Referring
to one person's post, they said something like 'if one person broke into the
house and took nothing and another person broke in and took something' their
both guilty, get a nucking brain. A security testing code hacker would only
break into a system if he was invited, say, I told one of my friends that if
he could break into my house, I'd give him 100 dollars, that would be
invited, a real "hacker" would NEVER break into a system if he wasn't
invited, the l4m3 @55 l-user's have helped the media change the meaning of
the word, and if I were to walk down the street with a shirt on saying I'm a
hacker, I'd get laughed at, bitched at, and probably arrested..
I don't even know what I'm saying any more, I'm tired, and I'll I know
is that the media is a freakin' bitch, and crackers should all die or
something, and real hackers are code hackers (like you'd "hack" at a piece
of wood with an axe or smoething)
Thank you, and I think I'm gonna go for a walk because
this room is getting really hot because of all these computers.
