Going off on a tangent (but only slightly) if you use Dreamweaver there is
an online tutorial for an extended version of this type of menu at
http://www.projectseven.com/dreamweaver/flyout/index.htm . It does, however
use DW's extension capability (though you might glean something from the
source code).
