Well, I don't teach HTML, I teach JavaScript ... obviously, however, I need
to use HTML in my course.  All of my examples are always in lower case.  I
do, admittedly, use "onClick" or "onMouseOver" but converting these to all
lower case would be a no brainer.

In investigating XHTML these past couple of days, I've seen mention that you
cannot use --, &, or < in JS code in an XHTML document unless you place the
code inside CDATA tags, or some such thing, and that code hiding, using the
HTML comment inside the script or style tags is illegal ... that will take
more getting used to.  External JS and CSS files are great, but there is
something to be said for quick and dirty scripts and styles embedded in the
document.
