Netscape/Table Woesby "Nathaniel Bank" <Nathan.Bank(at)cello.net> |

I didn't have time to look at all the breaks but do you break the following <table> tag? It looks like you go straight into another <table> (see last line of copy) without breaking, and Netscape gets REALLY cranky if you don't close your tags... Try that and see if it works. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" width="576"> <tr> <td><img src="epor000a.gif" width="576" height="97" alt=""></td> </tr> <tr> <td background="epor001a.gif"> <blockquote> <center><applet code="sevenAMNewsTicker.class" codebase= "http://www.7am.com/java" width="450" height="15"><param name= "channels" value="+SPORTSnews "> <param name="target" value="_blank"> </applet><br> <br> <br> <table bgcolor="#ffffff"> Nathaniel Bank; Database Lummox & Software Development; Cello Technologies Corp. http://it.cello.net/CelloTools 970.927.2579 - 970.948.7190 - The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. What, then, is the speed of dark? ----- Original Message ----- From: Virginia Blalock To: hwg-techniques(at)hwg.org Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2000 4:10 PM Subject: Netscape/Table Woes I am working on a site which I used a table that was made when I diced an image. When I view the ene result(with some content) in IE things look fine but in Netscape the background graphic I use in one of the cells tiles wrong and I get a horrible looking result. I have tried to fix this but have not been able to. The site is temporarily up at http://www.visionsnet.com/talk/index.html. Is there a way I can get this table looking the same in Netscape?
