I second Michael's emotion. This has happened to me. I had a customer that
had a broken site. He wanted it repaired. It was so javascipt driven it
was a mess to deal with.

I rebuilt the site using standard HTML and it wasn't a week later that he
was calling me telling me it was broken. He had gone in and tried editing
it. After much discussion I discovered he had been going from designer to
designer for some time. He broke this site several times. Each time he
expected me to cheerfully repair it for free. (as if!)

If someone hints they want to take over a site later, I run for the nearest
exit as fast as I can. There is only room for one master cook in any
kitchen. Too many cooks do spoil the stew. We are all to often held
accountable for someone elses screw ups.
