CSS, Images, & Netscape

I'm using the following bit of style...

.heading { background-image : url(images/sky.jpg);
 background-position: top left;
 background-repeat : no-repeat;
 background-attachment : scroll;
}


and using it like this in the body...
<.table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"
class="heading">


This totally dies in Netscape and I don't understand why.  Any ideas?
