It is possible to pass information along with the URL, this came up on a
newsgroup I am on recently. I didn't pay much attention at the time as it
wasn't something I needed (it is a very busy group).
If you go to Deja.com and do a search on the group macromedia.dreamweaver
for the thread "Javascript challenge" you should find some help.
