I see one option at IBM, http://www-3.ibm.com/able/hpr.htm where the
software is not too high priced and they have a 30-day demo. I haven't
tried it, but read about it on one of the About.com sites:

Looks like my system won't accept it right now, Im pretty overloaded and
planning on a new computer very soon.
Meanwhile, I plan to see if my local library has a screenreader, also the
local state college branch, which I've heard has an excellent computer room.
