Hi John,
You can use an animated gif (made to run once - not loop) as a rollover
in I.E. - it looks pretty cool. In Netscape it will show the last image (it
will have already run). You can also use a looping gif that (for example)
has a glowing area going across it. It's limited only by your
imagination..... The trick is to make the gif's as small a file size as
possible. An example of the first option can be seen on a page I just
started working on for my homepage at
http://angelonearth.net/mygarage.html - ignore the text (it will all be
changed anyway) & check out the '83 ZX door (I haven't pre-loaded the images
yet so it will have to load the first time.....).
On an unrelated topic; does anyone know how to add TWO sound files for
mouse-over to the same page? I have the garage door sound but would also
like the walk-in door to have sound too....
