Actually a really great program is already out there called Lotus Notes that
does it all.  IBM owns it since they bought Lotus a few years ago.  We were
using Lotus Notes where I worked at that time to share information company
wide across the country long before that idea was popularized.  See

It isn't free.  They have several versions starting from around $30.00 a
copy
