Click "Reply All" then it sends a reply to the person who posted - who =
more than likely wants to hear from you (since they posted the original =
query), and it will post to the list so the rest of us can read the =
missive as well.

i use outlook at work. and when i try to reply to a post it comes up
with the persons personal email address. why? why cant the email server
that the posts go through set the reply to address as
hwg-techniques(at)hwg.org like all the other lists im a member of? like the
Director group. makes life easyer.
because of this i dont bother to reply to posts. because ill forget to
change the address im sending it to and i dont want to send replies to
personal addresses. ive done it twice so far on this list. also, i dont
bother sending any. because if i have to reply to someone who answered
my post it my go private. and that is so annoying. also, the filters in
outlook are a bit naff. i told it that every email with
hwg-techniques(at)hwg.org anywhere in the header should be placed into
another folder. it doesnt do it. why? ive tried to filter messages and
it wont do it properly.
who do i write to to get the 'reply to' thing sorted out? or atleast for
the list server to do something with the header so outlook can
understand what to do with it.
is anyone else having this arsey problem with the reply to? or is it
just me?
