Hi All,
I'm using Flash on one of my sites (but what do I know?). <grin>
Actually I had a friend do the flash & with my over-graphiced (is that a
word?) original design it saved some load time. I have a re-direct so that
folks that don't have Flash get the html pages. This gives some problems
with mickysoft ME 'cause ME intalls Flash in a different place. I also have
(*very* important) a "skip intro" link so that folks don't have to wait for
the load if they don't want to. Flash designers will appreciate the
replacement for the "loading" text - a "Welcome To" thingie that's at least
a little entertaining. BTW my Flash guy is still available I believe........
The original plan was to make the *buttons* in Flash check them out &
see what you think. http://sitesense.com Right now the WTC/Pentagon tribute
slows the load time quite a bit but I guess I'll be taking that down soon.
I would love to hear opinions on the site anyway as I'm thinking about
changing it.....(I built it when I first started & it needs alot of tweaking
anyway).
In the end my opinion of Flash (for what it's worth) is either make two
sites with the re-direct or only use Flash for non-essential items.

P.S. In IE you can bookmark by clicking on "Favorites>Add To Favorites", In
Nutscrape it's basicly the same but they're called "Bookmarks". I would
think most folks would know this but I'm sure some wouldn't.....
