While the above is simply a minus sign, it will not stop the line from
breaking before or after the hyphen. Also, keep in mind, that any number
after 255, is only supported by html 4. I know you were just giving a
suggestion, but didn't want others to think that numeric code would
produce a non-breaking hyphen :-)
