If you are using country-code gTLD, you may actually be able to get by =
with
a single cookie. Forget for a moment what the cookie specification
promised, and read carefully what it actually provides. (Hint, the =
counting
of periods). Also realize that popular implementations are even looser.

Actually, the fact that popular implementations are unpredictable is why =
I insist on having two cookies:  it prevents them from misinterpreting =
your intentions.
