oh, it's there, all right -- just scroll down
lotsa white space in source code is often the result of some server-side
process that interprets special code in the page, then removes it, leaving
all that white space where the special code was
for example: cold fusion, asp, php (not sure if the last two leave white
space, i know cold fusion does, or did until the latest release made it
turn-off-able)
as for your first question, "how is the 'seek and you shall find' done?"
i'm not sure what you're referring to, all i saw was a simple search
form -- a field to enter the search string and a Search button
the actual search is carried out by a cgi program on the server, is that
what you mean?
by the way, i tried their search and found the results quite
disappointing -- they are using the open directory project, which is a
human-powered database, it won't have as many entries as databases that get
their contents by spidering...
