Mike, I had the same problem with a phone company and a client in New
England in the US. I have a gut feeling web site problems at phone companies
not country-specific.

Good luck, and I hope you convince your clients to move to a local ISP,
along with their web space. Since you've eaten up most of your profit, look
at it like a mission of sorts. Then don't take on any more clients if they
have an ISP with their phone company. Ask first - you can avoid a raw
headache from the start.
