ooh, you gonna hate me

this image took about four minutes to download

i had completely finished reading the entire copy before it showed up

so it was totally superfluous

475,544 bytes?  that's at least 10 to 20 *times* too big

also, it interferes with the text (parts of it are too dark)

and it doesn't reach all the way down the page, either, it stops above the
email image

i'd say ditch it
