no, and insanely hard, respectively
assuming you still wanted to retain server-side functionality
cold fusion is industrial strength server software
it's on a par with asp and php
you could convert to one of those languages
consider the server-side functionality you need in order
to validate a user against a login database and carry
a session id between page views to maintain the
"logged in" status
that's pretty hard to do with htm files ;o)
of course, if cold fusion is doing nothing more than
serving up content from a database (e.g. a blog)
then you *could* do it all with htm files -- instead of
one cfm file, you'd have one htm file for every
entry...
so it all depends on what the site is doing
