remove align="left" from the table tag
this is supposed to work the same way it does for the img tag -- it's a
float instruction, so it aligns the table to the left, and, more
importantly, allows the following text to flow around it
sometimes, there isn't very much room for the following text to flow around
the table, in particular, there's no room beside the table, with the kind
of consequences you are experiencing
