I recently asked the hwg-critiques list to have a look at my site. I had a
number of replies and some good suggestions which I have acted on.
One suggestion was that I should implement frames, I am thinking about this
in terms of pros and cons.
I have navigation buttons on the left hand side, and text links at the
bottom , some of my pages have a lot of text so you lose site of the nav bar
so frames seems an obvious choice.
I know how to use frames but I have tended to avoid using them I suppose due
to predjudice.
Is it good practice to give text links their own frame and fix them on the
bottom of the screen, or just include them at the end of a left hand frame?
A good number of my "pages" are scripts hidden behind HTML - I don't think I
can include these as frame sources - or can I?
Is there a down side re: search engines, or does the no frames content sort
this out?
I'd appreciate it if anyone would take a quick look at the site below and
offer any advice on this matter.
