Perhaps because the BEST PHP reference is www.php.net, and it's FREE. If the
on-line manual and function list don't hold the solution to your problem,
then the user comments and contributed code snippets usually do :-)
www.phpbuilder.com is also a good reference.
I have 2 PHP books, which are nice to have, I *like* old fashioned paper
references ... but I find the web references faster, more current and usually
more helpful.
