Sean,
this souunds like a javaScript error, not an HTML error. look at line 2 of
your javascript. From past experience i would say that you have most
probably put a function without the curly bracket.
e.g.
<script>
function myfunction()
alert("there is no curly bracket");
}
</script>
In the above case the error message would be given as
"expecting { Line 2 Character 22"
