PowerPoint presentation bogs down in NN4.x and 6.01

Some time ago, I asked this question on another list but no one responded.
So, I'm hoping an HWG member might know the answer to this.

Recently, I placed the .htm, image and Javascript files of a Power Point
slide show presentation on a client's site. It plays just fine using the
I.E. 5.x browser but in the Netscape's browser the first slide loses many
attributes and just sits there immobile. You can't navigate the slide show.

Is there a workaround (some coding changes I could do) to solve this
problem? Or, is a Power Point presentation strictly proprietary and will
only work in I.E.?
