If you are not a programmer, I really fail to see how you are going to use
PHP and MySQL in any meaningful way to help your client.

Using these requires a level of knowledge far above what is possible with
'cut and paste'.

>From what you say I think you are heading for real trouble, and I advise you
to get the help of someone who at least knows the rudiments of programming.

I would also back Mike's sentiment. I spent a not inconsiderable time
searching out the links for you. If I had know that they were above your
head I would not have bothered.
