We are getting sales calls from companies which make software where you
upload the document to the server, it interprets the appearance
(similarly to how Acrobat writes them by printers, and displayes them in
HTML. We are interested because much of our docuemnts are produced by
faculty on the fly . We do not have the resources to give every faculty
member Acrobat and train them how to use it.

Hi,
Sorry I didn't explain my situation clearly. I'm working on my company's
corporate Internet, and we take Word Docs and put them up in HTML or PDF
form for viewing and printing by our clients.
I appreciate all the suggestions, and I'm in the process of reviewing
each.
Thanks for all your help,
Troy
