Shelby mentioned that too, to use absolute rather than relative
links... but was there some change in IE that keeps relative image
links from working? This would be news (and unhappy news at that) to
me... IE *used* to show them just fine.

In practice, I rarely use absolute links for anything, unless pointing
off-site somewhere, so that it's easier to move sites from local space
to server, or from one server to another. I'm hoping I'm not going to
have to change this habit...
