OT (ish): netscape and proxy servers.

hello,
 for some reason netscape doesnt like microsoft proxy server 2 on the
network. it sits there trying to connect for about 3 or 4 mins, then
says it cant go anywhere. anyone know a way around this? ive tried
several configurations, using http://proxyname ive used just the proxy
name and ive used the IP addy only. all with the port number. but no
luck. is it compatible with with MS proxy server? it asked for my user
name and password for the proxy server and i entered them and it didnt
complain about that.
