Actually, I went to download a program using IE 5.5 the afternoon after
loading in NN 6 and the Netscape Smart Downloader popped up, then =
refused to
recognize the certificate from the site I was trying to download from,
therebye cancelling the download. I had to go into the Smart Download
preferences and choose for it NOT to come up anymore.

<sarcasm>

Ah, the good old days are here again! I remember when every alternating
release of NN or IE would attempt to destroy the other one's default
settings. I'm glad to see Netscape and Microsoft back at the game =
again.

Thanks for that, Richard, I've just done it. It does let you download
setup.exe from the ftp; when you install that, it puts a huge advert =
for
Smart Download all over your screen, but it doesn't make you use it!!
