First, your friend needs to check his agreement with the person who created
the site. Does your friend own the source/design of the site? If he doesn't
have a contract saying that he does, then he doesn't. Copyright stays with
the freelancer unless the contract specifically denotes the work done as
"work for hire". That is my unlawyerly understanding of the situation.

If your friend DOES own copyright to the pages, then it is still pretty easy
to get at the source pages. I was able to get to all the subpages simply by
examining the home page source. Again, though, I'm not going to be the one
to tell your friend how to get those pages if they aren't his to get. Sorry.

This is strange. I have a friend with a Web site hosted by a control freak. 
He wants to break free. But when I go to view the source of his pages, I 
get nothing beyond the first page. That first page shows no page links in 
the source! They take away the chrome when you click a link to another 
page, making it impossible to view the source. My friend wants to copy his
