Hi all
Years of ASP-SQL development and my company requires ASP-Mainframe.
Thus:
(In house servers: NT with IIS and EntireX. Mainframe: No Idea)

My knowledge of mainframe stuff is VERY limited.

Sooooo:
I wrote a VB COM Object (dll) to do Broker Calls to the mainframe.
Now from the mainframe's side (Not my area) it seems as if Broker talks to a
Natural App which talks to ADABAS (or whatever).

What must happen:
Via ASP, User Enters info on the web. Info sent to IIS SERVER. IIS SERVER
send info to mainframe. Mainframe returns result to IIS SERVER. ASP returned
to user with results.

What Happens Currently:
Via ASP, User Enters info on the web. Info sent to IIS SERVER. IIS SERVER
send info to mainframe via: COM through Broker Calls to
Natural-Mainframe-thingy. Mainframe returns result to COM on IIS SERVER. ASP
Extract Result from COM and returns to user with results.

Now the question:
Does ANYONE have a better idea?
Fine what I have done so far works but it seems like a bit of a lengthy
process....
I heard (Through the grapevine) that MickySoft has or is working on an ODBC
driver for ADABAS, But I can't find any info on it.....

It feels like i'm developing a time machine here.
