I'm Running IIS4/PWS on 7 NT WORKSTATION Machines......
Make sure TCP/IP is installed and ping your server.
If you can't ping it.... (Like we say in South Africa...) Eish!...

If you can ping it, and IIS/PWS is installed then you should be able to see
the server with ip as Address in your browser.
Also..
See if your instalation installed MMC (Microsoft Management Console) If it
did, Try and open IIS.msc (will be default if you open MMC from PWS) There
you will see the name of your server, also the address to use.

To check even further:
Check the Properties of your server, Goto WWW Service, Edit the Profile,
Goto Documents Tab, See that Default.htm and Default.asp is in the "Enable
Default Document" Box.

If all of this is correct, then you can fiddle with "Home Directory" and
"Web Site" Tabs
Make sure your Access permissions are set to at lease READ.
Also, Check your NTFS (if Applicable) Permissions on the (By Default)
C:\InetPub Directory
