Answers (IE4+)
1. Yup (make your backgroundsound an object and change it's source everytime
you want to make a noise)
2. if youre talking about:

3. Huh? I beleive IE4+ supports Mpeg (mabe WITH a 3rd party plugin..) and
think that if you used MPeg in Opt2 then It can contain Sound... 
OR if you use a gif, you might have trouble starting the .wav at EXACTLY
the same time as when the image starts to animate. But you can work around
that (With ALLOT of trouble) with the Document_Onreadystatechange() event
and with again what you did in question1 ........

But the wise man was correct.... (He only forgot to mention Browser
Compatability)
