Dreamweaver 2 would whine and pout and stay awake all night so Santa
wouldn't come. It would want to delete it as invalid code when you run
"clean up HTML".
The new Dreamweaver 3 released a few weeks ago is aware of PHP and would
recognise the <? stuff ?> as PHP code. It doesnt check it, instead
assuming you know what you're doing with that and leave it alone. Just as
it does with ColdFusion tags. DW3 also recognises ASP codes too I
understand, but i dont play with ASP, preferring to get my clients' sites
done today rather than next month, so I've never used that aspect.
