It's a cut-down version of the COldFusion web server. You can write the
CFML language in any text editor, since the only difference between
ColdFusion tags and HTML tags is their function. (For example there's a
<form></form> tag pair, and the version in CFML with the ColdFusion options
as well is <cfform></cfform>
ColdFusion Express is a Free version of the ColdFusion big brother and
includes most of the tags you'll use in normal operations, but it doesn't
support the big-time databases like Oracle and SQLServer7. It works fine
with Access though.
I'm considering using it to base a tiny non-profit organisation's web site
on, which if I'm right will allow them to have a simple little site be
dynamic and user-driven just like the big boys sites I normally work on.
