re the outspoken John Batt's comments. Personally
speaking I see it as my business to produce web pages
that can be viewed by 90% of the internet population,
with the majority of that audience getting all the
functionality intended. But then I'm a professional.
To say 'I produce to web standards and if you can't
read my pages its your problem' (- paraphrased I know)
is rather naive and blinkered approach to reality with
the current state of browsers.
Speaking for myself I'm a little bored with the
childish rants with the usual, tired insults -
Microshaft and Netscrape....both companies have
produced outstanding (and very poor) browsers and I'll
continue to make my pages available to as many people
as possible regardless of which browser is 'better'.
That said - the bug reporting of the newer browsers
has been really useful - thanks guys!
later
@ndy Dunbar
