I was having the exact same problems but with pages that validate to
4.01 transitional. I had been using the following statement:
<.!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01
Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html40/loose.dtd">
Then I deleted that statement and rewrote it using the doctype menu in
BBedit 6.0.1 which re-stated it as:
<.!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
That cleaned up the mess and now my pages display just fine in NN6. Is
the latter a more recent statement of 4.01? Or an older version?
Thanks,
Ken
