FreeBSD is a great OS! I use it for my workstations as well as servers. I=

have a couple FBSD web servers. I have PHP and MySQL installed so running=
 a=20
shop is a piece of cake. Once it's up and running, whether you do it or h=
ire=20
a consultant, doesn't matter, you maintanance will be minimal. Basically =
just=20
inputting the data. Even that can be automated by setting up ODBC calls t=
o=20
another server where the store inventory may live. Lots of possiblities.=20
Learning this stuff could take a few months of part time learning experie=
nce=20
but it will be well worth the effort. Hire someone to set it up, watch wh=
at=20
they do, learn as much as you can. Buy a PHP/MySQL book and start learnin=
g on=20
your own. You can't lose.
