DOCTYPE Problems

Hi,
I am from india. I have my website hosted at
geocities, the URL for the same is as below:
http://www.geocities.com/vask001
I had validated my page = "main_page.html", at the
website:
http://http://validator.w3.org/
... there are no errors in my document, but I get the
following warning, which I am not able to comprehend.
The warning message is given below:
Warning: DOCTYPE Override in effect! Any DOCTYPE
Declaration in the document has been supressed and the
DOCTYPE for �HTML 4.01 Transitional� inserted instead.
The document will not be Valid until you alter the
source file to reflect this new DOCTYPE.
Please do help me solve/understand this problem.
