Extending Dreamweaver 3

Hi all,

Will the extensions for Dreamweaver 2 such as the PHP one work in Dreamweaver 
3?

Also, has anyone built an extension that adds the correct DTD to every new 
document?  Adding them in by hand is beginning to annoy me........
