Hello Anique!
Why don't you load the PowerPoint slide, do a screen capture,
(Alt-PrintScreen)? This will load the active window as an image onto the
Windows clipboard, and you can easily paste it into your favorite image
editor, manipulate it, crop it, etc., then save it as .jpg or .gif.
