Hello List!
First, THANKS to all who responded to my problem with the "next month" script.
I am at a loss to explain what happened, but my original script is working
now. Ghosts? Beats me...
But, I did get some good info from you guys...one of which was a php
statement for my document that prints the "next month". I inserted it into
my html, but couldn't get it to work on my existing web pages. I created a
test page and saved it with a "php" extension, and inserted it all by
itself and it works great. All of the pages on my site have several server
side includes for different functions, plus a perl counter script. I name
my html files with the "shtml" extension, so I'm wondering if that is why
the php code doesn't work on them? I know there has been discussion on the
list about combining SSI's, CGI, PHP, etc, but I can't find the thread in
my archives. If I rename the files with a php extension, will my SSI's and
Perl scripts continue to function?
Thanks again for all the responses, and happy HTMLing,
Michael
