I'm stumped on something.
I have a <div class="main"></div> block of code that is positioned 
absolutely on the page with a set width.  The style also gives this 
div a nice 2pixel width border. The div fills with all different lengths 
of text so I don't want to hard code a height to the div. I just want to 
expand accordingly, which it does. The problem is I want the 
bottom of the div to not be flush with the bottom of the body. No 
matter what I try to do, I can't seem to get a bottom margin on the 
page. Here are some things I've tried..
1)giving the div a margin width. According to the standards it looks 
like this should work, and in fact I am able to get a top, left, and 
right margin, but not a bottom one. I don't get this.
2)adding page breaks after the </div>. This obviously won't work 
because the div is absolutely positioned.
3)tried giving the body margin values. no luck.
4)played around with nesting this div inside another set of div tags.

I'd love any help with this problem. Someone proposed a solution 
that might work, but seems like there should be easier way. A 
solution proposed was to find the height of the div and then 
generate another div positioned dynamically below the main div 
with just space in it.
Any other ideas ?
