I'd much rather see a nice, readable, professional-
looking text menu than many (or most) of the ugly, 
unreadable, and unprofessional looking graphical 
menus a lot of sites sport these days.

But hey, I still believe the purpose of the web is to 
provide information, not "graphical gewgaws for the 
sake of graphical gewgaws" ... ;-)
