The "real content" should already be coming from a 
common source, anyway. If the common source isn't 
already text-only, you have a design issue that 
transcends mere presentation - for instance, if your 
content is full-motion video, for instances, you need to 
decide how you're going to communicate the same 
information in other media (including text).
