Of course, this wouldn't be a "bot" of any sort spidering 
the site, it would be the hosting service's own search 
engine. You could check with the hosting service to find 
out if their engine respects a robots.txt file.

I seem to recall reading, perhaps in something 
connected with PHP, that you should put your include 
files in a folder outside the publicly-accessible 
directories on your site, and grant the appropriate 
permissions to the web server to read them, and 
yourself (of course) to have full permissions to that 
folder. But I don't know if I'm remembering that correctly 
or not, so perhaps you'd better rely on what others 
might say about this!
